Painted Blue's Blue Shampoo

Shampoo is our little spitfire. She has been my youngest child's agility buddy and they have been a fun team! We have yet to get to the point of competing, but Shampoo is so good with working with a young child and is so willing to learn and please. This girl has the fastest recall of any of our dogs. Though she is tiny, she is quite the boss dog when it comes to the other fur family. She is holds her own with big and little, male and female.
Shampoo is our breeding, and comes from our very first Miniature American Shepherd/Miniature Australian Shepherd Nyomi. We wanted to continue her line in our program for the brains and temperament she brought to the table. We are excited to see this continue with Shampoo, and hope to continue to work from that foundation, forward.

Lucy is my shadow. Where ever I go, she is right next to me and nudging my hand with her soft nose to let me know she is close. Lucy is a cuddler and a mind reader. She will beat me to the couch and wants to crawl into my lap as soon as we sit. Lucy gets along beautifully with children and other dogs. She is confident and easy going. She is easy to have out with me and has an incredible focus on me when out and about. Lucy is initially aloof with people she doesn't know, but accepts my acceptance of their presence. Lucy is extremely biddable and has been very easy to train.

Long Awaited Reincarnation
Dorothy - 18.5" AKC/ASDR Blue Merle Australian Shepherd
Dorothy is the queen bee (Queen D as we call her) around here! Dorothy gets and expects all the special treatment. She is a bed hog and prefers to ride shotgun when we are out and about. Dorothy is very confident. She is level headed, but also in charge. She is a great communicator and easy to read. She can be focused and fast when she wants something. Dorothy can be hard headed, and sometimes will hold out for the cookie she knows she deserves for being asked to do something. She is incredibly sweet, gentle and loving with everyone in the family and anyone else we accept in for a visit. She has been easy to work with, as she is HIGHLY food motivated. Dorothy is the first in my lap for a hug, if I call.

Heather - 17.5" AKC Red Tri Australian Shepherd
This girl is so versatile. Heather is a high drive spitfire! She loves to play ball or frisbee, and is trained to find the rodents we don't want in our space. She is focused and she really loves to work. Heather also has an amazing off switch. She is a gentle and squishy cuddler. She sleeps in bed with my daughter and can be the best couch potato and lap warmer. Heather likes to think she will score ear and face squishes if she can just black our view of whatever we have going on. She has no qualms about letting us know what she needs or wants.
